This is an image from my archives. A pair of smooth coated otters look on curiously as stone plovers converse in the background. This image is from Good ol' Ranganathittu.

Beautiful composition. Loved the head just popping out of the water and those inquisitive eyes. The low angle adds to the composition. Did you also get a tighter close up of just both the otters alone ? Maybe a vertical ?

Lovely sighting. Nice pose and eye contact from both the otters. Agree the low angle enhances the composition further. Good that you could get the reflection in full. I am yet to sight this species in the wild :(. Thanks for sharing.

They were far off and shy (from Humans) so I couldn't get a closer image. Even the current one is a crop.

Nice to see this. I remember the image of otters harassing the mugger.

In this image the birds are right behind the otters. Since the background is dark with a bright patch directly behind the birds, they become prominent. Thanks for sharing.
