Dear Friends,

I seek your opinion on using Raynox DCR 250 Super Macro Conversion Lens alongwith Canon EFS 18-135mm/3.5-5.6 & 50mm/1.8 lenses. Camera body is 550D. I have few questions & if there are answers in this forum.

1. What would be the minimum focussing distance with this combination.
2. What magnification do I expect to achieve with this combination.
3. Is auto focus available
4. Is aperture control available

Would appreciate the feedback if someone has tried this or a similar combination. I have tried cheap extension tubes but due to lack of auto focus & no aperture control its really very difficult to manage a decent shot.

I am on a tight budget & in a position to afford this much only for the time being.

No idea about this lens. I would any day prefer the Canon 58mm 250D close up lens. Here is the link to B&H. You can see the details. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/87491-REG/Canon_2820A001_58mm_250D_Close_up_Lens.html
