The eye contact is nice. The yellow channel seems to be slightly overexposed. Also critical focus may not be on the head of the bird. You would be able to know it better from the original image. How much of a crop is this? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sabyasachi for the appraisal. Actually it is about 30% crop.As far as I can remember the focus was the eye and head of the bird.It was perched for about a few seconds before it took off so there was hardly any time for conscious assessment.

Nice. agree the image looks soft. focus seems to be on the leaf below.
