I like the off centered composition and the environment around the bird gives the picture a lot of character.

The focus seems to be locked ahead of the bird. You could also have gone a bit higher on the ISO, which would have given you a higher shutter speed and hence more details on the bird.

Good heat turn and nice eye contact.
