Nice closeup. The crest looks nice. Liked the colours. A slight head turn away from you would have enhanced the eye contact further. Thanks for sharing.

Pleasing picture especially in tough light conditions.

A slightly higher shutter speed may have produced a little more details but that would have meant going up on the ISO. I'm not sure of the higher ISO capabilities of the 600D.

The uploaded image is small. A bigger size would help in critiquing better. It would have been nice to see some more details in the image. How much of a crop is this? In this image there is a hint of the right eye (on the left in the image). So it would have been better if the head was turned slightly away from you. The shadows have become completely black and lost details. Overall the image needs to be a bit more bright. Thanks for sharing.
