Nice caption to a truly eerie surrounding.

Looks like very tough lighting conditions. The high ISO has probably resulted in the whites being blown. The low shutter has resulted in loss of details.

The composition and eye contact are a big plus to this image. Another nice collection to your not so easy to get species. Keep them coming . . .

The colourful Kingfisher stands out against the dry leafless background. Nice eye contact. Its good you used the high ISO, as the shutter speed was quite low. Nicely captured in tough conditions. Thanks for sharing.
