Nice perch and good eye contact. Placing it a bit more to the left of the frame for an off-centered composition would be good. The whites look just a bit over exposed, you can try to recover the details in post processing. Thanks for sharing.

After clicking an image you can check the preview. If there are any blinking highlights, then you need a negative EC. You can check the histogram of the clicked image to get an idea.
