This was taken Nalghati area of Ranthambore. Nikon D7000, Nikor 70-200 mm f 2.8 lens, ISO 400, 1/400s, aperture 2.8, 200mm @ f/5

I think you were using the central AF point. You can try manual selection of the AF points, so that the subject can be positioned at one side for an off-centered composition. Raising the camera upwards would have been good so that there would have been less of the foreground and the more space at the top would have shown the trees and strengthened the composition. Hi Sabyasachi, yes on this occassion I kept all the cameras on automode, because fresh pug marks were identified of mother and cub and the forest was silent, chances were high of spotting. Suddenly saw this nilgai answering the natures call, could not resist. By the way my recent posession is GoPro HERO 3 Black Edition, it is simply too good for its size, performance and wide coverage. My family and I are all set for the next wild rendezvous from Dec 19th 2013 to Jan 4th Jan 2014, and then April 3 to April 18 2014, all bookings done

You caught him in the moment :-). Agree off-centered composition would have enhanced the image further. Nice display of habitat. Good luck for your next wild rendezvous. Thanks for sharing.
