NIKON D200, NIKON 70-300ED LENS, focal length - 300, 1/320, f/5.6, ISO -200

This unexpected shot. I was shooting the dragon fly on a small hill near to my home, that time this bird landed in-front of me.
She entertained me to take shots, when she was on ground looks beautiful in morning light, i could not take ground shot properly due to surface was not proper, i was standing on small small rocks, i missed the opportunity.

Nice off centered composition with the bird on the side and good space facing the bird. The focus seems to be locked on the leaves / branch just in front of the bird.

A slightly higher ISO would give you a higher shutter speed which in turn will get more details on the picture. Lovely head turn and eye contact.

Nice surprise sighting of this raptor. Good eye contact. Agree about the focus. Moving more to the left would have helped to get it in more clear. Thanks for sharing.
