Wonderful pic of an endangered animal.Nice and powerful eyes.....You seem to be using high ISO speeds for most of your pics.Here you had the opportunity of reducing it further.Any reason?

Nice captivating look. Agree with Sankar on the ISO. Any specific reason for the same? Are you using a multipoint focus ? for again, the focus seems to be on the tree. Maybe you can try using the center point focus for a more precise exposure.

The eye contact and the dark coat peppered with green tacks are a great assets to this lovely picture. Did you also try a vertical ?

Lovely eye contact. Nice sighting of a dominant male. Agree a vertical composition would have worked well here as presently the fingers have just got cut at the bottom frame. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that since it is not moving, you could have used a lower shutter speed and a lower ISO. The high ISO of 600D is not as good as the 1 series cameras.
