Jeweled flower mantis Creobroter sp. One of the less 'glamorous' yet priceless denizens of Pakke Tiger Reserve, Arunachal Pradesh.
Spotted this creature on a fern during a trail in the park. For this image, I had to crawl into the shrubbery and assume an awkward position to come to eye level with it :D. The low shutter speed did not help, and consequently there is a bit of shake, due to which the sharpness of this image is not optimal.

Nice sighting. Your effort paid off, the low angle enhances the image. Agree a higher shutter speed would have been good. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one abhishek. The angle certainly helps so does the stare.. is this found in south india??

Roopak: They are possibly found in South India, I came across a few record images of a similar one from Bangalore.
