Bokha (before while mating with Jhujura Female)

I was lucky to see Bokha and Jhujura female in the act closely and for long. This has been the most exciting Tiger sighting I have ever had.

I wish I had take his paws and more of the bottom part of the frame.

Lovely pose and eye contact. You are really lucky to see Bokha for a long time. He is quite hard to photograph as opposed to B2. You got a clear view from the grass. You have any photographs of Bokha and the Jhujura female together? Would love to see them.

How big a crop is this? Was it a vertical capture or horizontal?

Light seems to be very less. Nice moment. It is always great to watch a tiger in a forest.

I would like to see more space at the bottom as the paws appear to be cut off. I would also reduce the contrast.

You were damn lucky to get such a clear photo. I've sighted tiger only once in the wilderness (this May) that too at one of the most unexpected places..Kabini. This place is more known for leopard sightings and we have some superb shots of Kabini leopards from Sabyasachi (down the trail) and Apana (the mesmerising yawn). I could only manage a shot of a sleeping tiger and the frame is embarrassingly full of only (how do I put it politely) the posterior? :D

Such photos are very impacting where we have two contrast colors in one frame, here we have a dry grass in FG and dark green jungle at BG.

Thanks ! I have few pictures of Bokha and jhujura female together, they haven't come out that good though. ( will post them soon). I could not shoots the actual mating scene, we were parking our gypsy so that the vehicles behind us got to see and the whole thing happened in a jiffy.

Thanks ! it was a horizontal frame and have cropped little from the a little from the sides.

I am learning to post process. Absolutely an amateur at photo shopping. I use Camera RAw to make basic changes and CS3 for sharpening and little experiments on curve.
