Spotted this spider just next to the crab spider, earlier shared post (http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?13735-Well-camouflaged-predator). It was mimicking a scorpion with claws like front feet and wagging its tail as if it would sting. It had a great jumpning ability for such a small sized spidey (close to 5mm in size)

This looks like one of the Chrysilla spiders, not sure as I don't have my guide with me. I believe the behaviour you noticed might have been courtship display. It would have been great to see this through a macro lens. :)
