This shot was taken on one of the tree in the foothills of Kanda where the ravine meets the fulai chaur.

Its a rare sighting in Corbett. Nice composition, flowering trees, hills in the background. Was this photograph taken in one of your earlier visits during spring? Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

You are lucky to sight a leopard in corbett. You got it well through the clearing in the centre. Wish there were more details. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Sakitida, hats off to your elephants memory, I did post another frame of same leopard sitting on the branch. This shot was taken last April. I am again in for another corbett rendezvous coming April 2014.

Good to know that you sighted a leopard in Corbett. The rhododendrons are in bloom. It is quiet a big tree. At times leopards keep their cubs in the hollow of such large trees. Thanks for sharing.
