The shutter speed was pretty low. At what focal length was this image clicked? The elephants are smaller in the frame. However, I think even wider composition to include more of the water would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice display of the habitat. Looks like a mother and calf are grazing peacefully. Increasing the ISO to 400 would have helped. Thanks for sharing

Nice scene of the world famous dense jungles of the eastern Himalaya foothills. The waterbody looks like Mara Dhansiri Nala, may be some Bill also. In this range you might have observed there is no congregation of Rhinos and elephants, possibly because of this, here the tiger moves on forest road and you have definitely found a lot of scratch markings on trees. I was fortunate to see the beauty of Kaziranga Tiger near Diphlu Nadi in this range. Right from birth the cub's mind has been trained by the mother that it has to survive on very large prey species, and therefore, though elusive; the Kaziranga Tiger is not afraid of attacking jeep or elephant, when cornered or when you come between the mother and the cub. Like Manas, this is a jungle where we should tread the tiger and the elephant carefully.
Did you take the Natonal Atlas detailed map with you?
