Saw this Asian Paradise Flycatcher in Sanjay Gandhi National park. It was around 1pm and this fellow was playing hide and seek. Finally managed to get a shot.

Nice sighting. Good perch and eye contact. There seems to be some noise in the background. I sighted the male paradise flycatcher when I was at SGNP in Dec, but couldn't photograph it :-(. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact. I agree that a bit more brightness would be better. I think since the bird is in shade and other parts of the frame would be lighted, so the meter reading of the camera ensured that the shade portion would be dark in order to protect the other areas. Thanks for sharing.
