This tigress was actually resting in the centre of a meadow of tall dry grass, when her twitching ears was spotted by our guide.Suddenly the call of a male tiger nearby, brought her to her feet, and a few rapid bounds brought her close to us as we seemed to be in her way.It was a thrilling three minutes. It was practically dark, as it was towards the end of our safari time.Nikon 3200+55-300mm ISO3200 F/5.6 FL300mm 1/320s. It is too high an ISO hence the grains and lack of details. However, the one can see the beauty of this magnificent creature. Wish the other eye was a bit more visible. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a healthy brownish yellow (sienna) coloured tigress. Looking at the colour of the shoulder which is lighter, it appears to me that the colour has come out natural, what you have seen. I have seen tiger having such ground colour once each in Kanha and Kaziranga. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice walking pose captured. The raised hind paw looks nice. Did you get to sight the male tiger also? Thanks for sharing.
