Lovely composition. The light almost resembles a spot light on an Opera performer. The light seems harsh with the whites being blown. Maybe due to the crop or the WB (do you remember the manual setting ?).

The low angle, eye contact and composition with space in front of the bird is a great plus to this nice picture.

As Rajan said, she is an opera artist performing. Very beautiful bird and very beautifully captured. Looks like it is not found in this part (Deccan) where i usually foray.
