After almost not being able to make it, we made it to the safari post lunch. There were 4 Dholes in this pack and all seemed content lazing around. Couple of occasions they looked up and then back to their slumber. Managed to get this, the Dhole still looks groggy in this image.

Glad to Know you have finally managed to sight Dholes in the wild.They seemed to have had a good lunch like you and this seems to be their siesta time.Nice moment captured.Thanks for sharing.

oh yes the mood makes all the difference...but don't worry Murugan... in the soft evening light with the river in the BG, the dholes will be up and casting around sniffing the air and ground with a fiery look in the eyes .... the jungle wud be reverberating with alarm calls and suddenly the chase begins..... next time, there is always next time....your card will been full even before you realise it, better have enough back up. ....:thumbup:

I agree with Roopak. Dholes are highly playful creatures. Playing is a way of bonding for them. So one doesn't often find them lazing around for hours. Were the other two dholes at a distance? Thanks for sharing.
