Drongo in flight

Where was this photographed. This would have been a nice image. The drongo seems to be hunting and feeding on the fly. However the image is underexposed. When shooting against the sky, the meter reading is on the basis of the bright sky. It reduces the exposure to bring the sky to mid grey level and hence the black drongo has become completely underexposed.

This was photographed in Dhikala and it was hunting on swarm of honey bees. I have attached another image, this seems to be slightly out of focus. What should be the ideal technique to shoot such images.
