The Indian Rock Python and the Turtle

At K-Gudi we saw a Python who had consumed a large meal curled away under a tree in the middle of a little island.It was seen to be accompanied by a turtle. Nikon-7100+300mm F-4 FL300mm 1/640s ISO 250s

That's an interesting duo :). Was it possible to get closer or get a clearer view?

If I remember correctly that tree is in the middle of the pond. So it would be difficult to get a closer view unless one uses 600mm or so. This shows how the prey come to the python. It never runs throughout the forest in search of food. Thanks for sharing.
