Crested Hawk Eagle with Kill

We sighted this Crested Hawk Eagle on a Jungle Fowl Kill. The Jungle fowl was too heavy for the CHE and we saw it repeatedly try flying off with it. Once it realised it could not. It started picking off its feathers and eating the kill while slowly dragging it into the foliage cover. It was great to see this from close quarters. Only wish the bright grass stalk were basent behind the bird.

Nice to see this image of a predator with kill. The eye contact is nice. The feathers strewn on its left and right speaks about the situation. How did you process this image?

I had by mistake dialed a +2 on the EC. Pulled the details back. Standard levels, contrast, saturation and sharpening was used in post processing.
