Cooling off....Tiger Banidipur

Intense heat of April month makes this Tiger from Bandipur cool off in not so clean water.Tigers don't mind quality of water.....

Which waterhole in bandipur is this? They don't differentiate between clean water and filter water. :) Muddy water is not a problem for them. If the water has got pollutants/ industrial waste etc, then it becomes a problem. On the other hand, elephants are very susceptible to stomach infections from impure water.

Not sure about which waterhole is this...During the previous evening safari also this place was visited.One has to satand,lean and look down to see the tiger in this waterhole.....From the Bandipur forest office the safari jeep took the jungle road opposite to it.......Of all the water holes visited this was the smallest one....With low water levels only one tiger can cool off here!

Water holes are a sure shot place to sight a tiger during the summer season :-). Seems it was resting. Difficult angle to photograph. Thanks for sharing.
