It was a ritual scrapping of the ground by the tiger after defecating. Corbett National Park.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f8, 1/80 sec

like the way you have composed this shot, also the blur is looking gr8...
just fell this could be little underexpose....
