Pied Kingfisher - Telineelapuram

I have been trying to sort out my Telineelapuram images as the wetlands are still not safe. Vested interests are still in overdrive to take over the area.

I photographed this Pied Kingfisher very close to place that is to be taken over by the Power Plant.

Unfortunately, the light was from the other side and the face was not well lit.

Pity about the light, but we need such images to document the biodiversity of the place.
