Nice. Love the green colour scheme. I would retain the left and bottom parts, or alternatively crop this image from the top and right- basically to get the bug a tad closer to the centre. A matter of opinion I guess.
This is a jewel bug and not a beetle... The hard extension over the wings (commonly a beetle feature) makes this one easily mistaken for a beetle. Jewel bug ID cues include the proboscis (vs. mandibles found in jewel beetles) and the single continuous (vs. paired in beetles) hard covering over the wings.

Thanks for the clarification Abhishek. I did notice the proboscis but got fooled by the hard exterior over the wings.
