In continuation ...... He was so close and his size was so big my 300mm prime was longer to accomodate in a frame.

Nice full frame photograph. Liked the walking pose. The lighting was tricky, but you have captured it well. Good details. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely walking pose. The colour of the coat and pattern of stripes look nice. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

P.S.: If we concentrate only on build, it looks more like a tigress. I have a feeling, I do not know how far it is true; Kanha, such a large reserve having excellent prey base is devoid of enormous males after connectivity with other tiger habitats got almost lost. I only wish, they are there inside the core area!

Tough scene to shoot in bright summer sun. The bright highlight on the leaves is distracting. In summer if the sighting is rather late in the morning or just at the beginning of the afternoon safari, there are chances that the image can be impacted by the bright sun. In such situations it is helpful if the tiger is in complete shade, so that one can compose accordingly.

I think in a couple of more years with without any fights with other tigers and with good availability of prey, this fellow can grow its girth. Thanks for sharing.
