I am posting a heavily cropped photograph, highlighting the tigress and her wound.
The wound have healed considerably and If you note on the left shoulder one fly is sitting on the wound, which is most likely 3 weeks to about 4 weeks old. In my view the wound was caused by penetration of horn of sambar or chital stag. The theory of porcupine pills as informed to me by Guide and Driver seems to be incorrect as the tigress was putting her left fore paw perfectly on the ground, but could see the weight was not fully being transferred to the left foreleg and that was causing the limping action.
