A low-light record image of a Streaked Laughingthrush (Garrulax lineatus) made one morning in Nagini, Himachal Pradesh.
A rather shy and very active bird that forages in small flocks close to the ground in dense shrubbery and low trees. This sighting happened when I was least expecting it (I had just woken up :p ). Fortunately the camera was lying close by and I managed to grab a quick shot.

Thanks, C&C welcome.

A rare capture as it is difficult to photograph this species. One sees them flitting past swiftly , laughing mockingly but rarely is one able to get a good glimpse. The breakfast appears particularly succulent. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see this species. The light seems to be low. It is good that you had your camera near by. Too often we pack our cameras while returning from a jungle and suddenly we see a great sighting and fail to capture it.
