"Kuntu" Tiger of Bandipur and its deformed front leg...........

Kuntu Tiger of Bandipur has a deformity in its front left leg.This is most probably happened at birth rather than a result of a fight with anothter tiger.This information was given by the forest guide in the safari jeep.He also confirmed that this deformity is not a constraint for Kuntu to hunt down prey......

It seems to me like a burn injury suffered while it was a cub. The natural developmental process must have, slowly but surely, taken care of its injury to make it into a strong adult. It may just be one of the possibilities...
