Wow, beautiful rare creature nicely pictured. Looks like the focus is locked on the grass and the leaf in front of animal. The tilted angle gives the composition a different nice feel and the details on the neck and coat are nice. The pose and eye contact are beautiful

thanks for sharing

Rare sighting. Good eye contact. The low angle gives a different perspective. Good colours and details in the coat. Was it on some wall? How long was the sighting? Thanks for sharing.

Great to see this. Some more space at the left would have been even better. Looks like it is on some road and you were shooting from a lower level. Were you trekking? How much of a crop is this? Thanks for sharing.

I was sitting in depression on the ground. Knew that they were there and have been trying for the last 3 years but only saw them once at night. This time I was waiting for some birds when I saw the head rising from the other side of the ground. I was sitting hardly 15 feet away and stayed motionless. Then this guy came up but did not notice me.... he was engrossed in looking at the chowkidar who was chatting with his friend behind me about 50 feet away. When he was sure that he was not being seen by the chowkidar he was relaxed and I started shooting. After sometime the baby came out too but I got only a couple of more shots before both disappeared. The sighting was for about 4 minutes. They were at a higher ground than me. The bright back ground is the sky. There is no wall but a short fence but that is not visible here. About 10 percent crop to avoid an intruding branch.

Yes Roopak... in fact this shot is taken at a garbage dump.
