Green-backed tit (Parus monticolus)
Another foray into bird photography with the 100mm :D. There were plenty of these around and I decided to try my luck. Spent a few minutes stalking this one, and managed to make this image when I was about 8 feet away from the bird. More of a record shot.
Nagni, Himachal Pradesh. Dappled morning light again. Regret the distracting branch, but this was the clearest view I could get, and the only moment the bird was in sunlight.
Canon 500D, Canon 100mm Macro USM
SS 1/250
Av 5.6
ISO 400

Thanks, C&C welcome.
