The eye contact and the crest looks nice. The low angle adds to the composition. Wish the light was from behind you, that would have enhanced the image further. Please post the EXIF details to help in commenting. Thanks for sharing.

Were you trekking? In bird photography the frontal lighting brings out more details. Side lighting shows up the form well, but the shadows falling on the face doesn't allow us to see more details. A slight glint on the eye would have looked great. Thanks for sharing.
