Nice sighting. Slight more space at the left than on the right would strengthen the composition. Please check the AF point, not sure if it is locked on the subject. Thanks for sharing.

This is a type of fly (dipteran). Not sure of the exact ID, but there are various online sources (and even smartphone apps- http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?13649-Insect-Orders-(ID-key-for-Android)&highlight=insect+orders) that can help you with basic insect identification.
