Teratodes monticollis, commonly known as Hooded Grasshopper. Yeoor never ceases to surprise me. Seems all kinds of creatures have made this city forest their home. An opportunity for city dwellers to wonder about nature's creations.

EXIF :550D, 18-135mm Lens, shot @ 44mm with +4+1 Diopter Omax Filter, Tv : 1/200, Av:f/11, Camera Flash on, ISO 1600( could have kept low with flash), 10% crop for composition.

Thanks Abhishek !!! It was sighted a little off track in Yeoor last Sunday. Difficult to spot due to excellent camouflage. ..
