A Kitten at the end of it

This is a two year old tigress born to T17. I loved the way she lay in the wet soil and gave this cute look into the lens. I had half a mind to crop out the big rock on the right but it messed with the image balance so I let it be.

Nice to see the image of an offspring of T17. At one point of time she was the most hounded by photographers and other tourists.

Is the focus point ahead of the tigress or is it my old eyes playing tricks?

The wet soil and the tree roots give us an idea about the habitat. Did you try a shot with more of the tree or a vertical composition? Thanks for sharing.
