Nikon P510, 1/800, F5.9, 288 mm, ISO-100, cropped from left and bottom for better presentation.
Clicked in Sangareddy lake, on 23-Feb-14. I was behind a bush on lake shore and Shovelers came quite close, the blazing sun rays were hitting the lens and there was no scope to move out:sad:. The lake was full of Shovelers this year whereas last year they were quite rare.

Nice you could see the Shovelers from so close. Seems there is a slight tilt, you can correct that in post processing. Wish the light was more from the side to get the eyes in good focus. A more rectangular framing would have been better here than the present square one. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. Somehow a shoveler always reminds me of Donald and invariably brings in a feeling of careless mirthful happiness....
