Congratulations on the new 500mm f4 lens. Did you buy the IS version 1? How much of a crop is this? Which AF point were you using? A bit more brightness would be good. Thanks for sharing.

@Mrudul - It is canon 500,
@Sabyasachida - It is IS II, It was cropped approx. by 50 %. The picture was snapped with Single shot AF and Single point AF Mode. Sabyasachida, was my camera setting appropriate for this particular shot or some other setting would have been better?...looking forward to receiving your valuable comments.
