Very common bird in India , the oriental magpie-robin is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but now considered an Old World flycatcher.

Liked the eye contact. The low angle looks good. There seem to be some loss of details. Is it a crop? Thanks for sharing.

Nice pose.not a shy bird and allows very close approach.

I agree with Roopak. Once in Bharatpur this bird was within my closest focusing distance of my 400 f2.8 lens ie. 10 feet. And I had to keep on going back as the fellow was coming closer and closer. At times long lens can be a problem. :)

The pose and eye contact is fine. Increasing the contrast a bit would be better. Thanks for sharing.
