Spotted this during Independence Day noon stroll at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It was lying on a drooping branch held with a creeper. Initially, from distance, it seemed to be some dead stuff but a close and curious watch revealed it was a huge caterpillar (first time I came across such a big cat. in real life). It was almost dead still for quite a long time

One of the most beautiful caterpillars to come across. You have managed the lighting nicely.

This looks so different. Part of the leaf at the top appears to be in focus. A bit more sharpness would have been great. The shutter speed was also not high. Thanks for sharing.
