Now a days it is difficult to get this kite on natural perch, most of time it is found on electric wires.

Its quite difficult to get these raptors on natural perches. Most can be seen perched on electric poles and wires :(. Nice head turn and eye contact. There seem to be some loss in details. Thanks for sharing.

Raptors prefer to select a perch based on its height so that they get a vantage point to survey the surroundings. With the loss of suitable trees in most of the places the electric poles are used by the raptors as perch which is actually a bit of an eye sore. I love the red eye of this species. There is a post-processing halo around the bird and the branch on the side near the tail feathers has got blurred. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Nice capture. Its true that most of the time its found on electric wires. I let it go for many times due to that.
This on looks better thanks for sharing.
