Looks like a pregnent doggie (at Kabini)

400D, APO 150-500, F6, 1/30, ISO 200. Light was very poor and the only option i had was to play around with the ISO. Have a series of shots at different ISO settings - and this was possibly the best i could make.

Nice one. I guess she is pregnant. The fur in the body looks nice.
I wish light was on her face. May be you can try to open up the shadows so that the left side of her face becomes less dark. Despite the 1/30 shutter speed the sharpness looks decent. Was it close to the vehicle?

The light seems just about right. Not sure if she's pregnant, or just had a rather large meal, in fact, I'm not even sure it's a she.
