Nice one. I like the environmental portrait. I would be tempted to take a little from the right. I like the texture of the rocks.

Where was it? Its a long time since I photographed this species. I have seen these fellows at times at garbage dumps, at times even in fields. Didn't see them in bharatpur this year.

Sabyasachi, this was at Ramadeva betta in Ramnagaram.

Abhishek, no, as it is they were at least 40 -50 feet above us and on a ledge of a sheer cliff face, so no way of getting higher.

Hi Apana,

beautiful capture...upward head movement and the rock in the BG complementing each other creating lovely habitat shot.

By cropping left side by few inches and creating vertical composition, you can give curious expression with impressive looks...by creating tension :)
