Posting another image where the red fascinating eyes of the bird may be seen.Even here it seems to be engaged in the all important task of collecting sticks.Corbett morning April 2014

Its red eye is striking and the black border around it further enhances the appearance. Maybe waiting a bit longer for it to turn its head slightly towards you would have enhanced the eye contact further, but that would have been tricky, as it was more interested in collecting the sticks :(. Thanks for sharing.

Good that in this image some light has fallen on its head to show us the red eye. How long was it engaged in breaking sticks? Thanks for sharing.
