Nice sighting. If the pack is in a relaxed mood, then its pleasure to watch them playing around. How long was the sighting? Thanks for sharing.

It so happened in this trip to Kabini that we had to leave the spot because it was getting late or on hopes of seeing others... The animals we in no hurry to leave and totally ignored our presence...

The wild dog sighting lasted a good 25 mins. There was a female leopard sighting the previous day which lasted for more that 30 mins.

Since it was on the state highway, even passers-by stopped their cars to take a peek. Slowly a small traffic jam started to take shape.

Some impatient drivers even started honking. Still she wouldn't inch away from her favorite branch :). It was really astonishing to see how tolerant she was.

I've heard that animals in kabini shy away from jeeps while in bandipur it is the contrary... that wasn't the case this time.

Nice to see the dholes. We didn't sight the dholes in Kabini. In Bandipur we heard their calls but couldn't locate them as they were in the bush.

Great to know that you had leopard sighting on the main road. You can post an image upto 1024 pixels on the longest side and below 300kb so that we can see the details clearly. Thanks for sharing.
