This looks good. The partially visible branch on the right is a bit distracting, will croping it work?

Mrudul,

Good point. I would have not seen this had you not pointed it out. Here is he version with the crop.

Apana,
Interesting perspective. The repost looks better without the partially visible hanging root at the right.

Cheers,

The repost looks better. The increased contrast gives a dense feel. I have no clue about fisheye photography... Maybe you can post a tutorial on the same...

Bibhav,

It's all in the lens. An 8mm lens will give you a full 180 degree field of view on a full frame camera. It is called a fisheye lens because the front element of the lens bulges out, resembling the eye of a goldfish.

Canon does not make a fisheye lens but Sigma does:

Do you get the circular shapes in the raw image itself? how do you stretch it into a sphere or a landscape pic (Ref. Your blog)

Whether RAW or JPEG the image on a full frame camera will be circular. The images on my blog are not circular since they are shot on 40D or 400D cameras, both of which use an APS-C size sensor. The landscapes are plain unaltered landscapes.
