Nice sighting. I had not seen this bird before in Hesaraghatta. Seems the sightings are good in Hesaraghatta. Good eye contact. I liked the composition. Thanks for sharing.

This was my first of time.... they are very shy birds its very difficult to get them in open...

Nice to see this species on a thorny acacia tree. The eye contact is nice. How is that place now? Thanks for sharing.

nice.good eye contact and well composed. also called the pied cuckoo. there is some confusion about the theory that it is a harbinger for the arrival of the south west monsoon and which subspecies actually migrates from africa..hopefully the migrant watch project will throw some light on it.
