It is taken at NAGLA BLOCK - A part of Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

Sony H50 | F 2.7 | ISO 100 | 1/125 | AUTO

Actually didn't give more attention to this fellow, just took a single hand-held shot. Light was too low, was difficult to take narrow aperture. Also higher ISO would increase noise. But will try next time.

Nagla has lots of variety of insects and butterflies. Also known to feature Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher in monsoon. (Couldn't spot :( )

Very nice image, Sagar. A bit more sharpening will help.

Sagar,
Agree with the comments above. Try to carry a tripod. Cropping it from the top to remove the dark portion at the top left hand corner will strengthen the image.

Though you didn't get the Oriental Dwarf kingfisher, knowing at your immense interest in these tiny creatures (but important from ecological point of view), I think you would not have been disappointed. :D

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thanks Apna, Bibhav and Sabyasachi for suggestions.

Re-posting with sharpened image and cropped.

Will be adding some more tiny creatures.

The eyes have come out nice. And yes, sharpening will help a lot.
Didn't know you get the oriental dwarf kingfisher here. Since you're interested in insects you should try the Silonda trail (near the Borivali main gate).

Sagar, the repost looks better, but there is some noise. Maybe it is because you converted the jpeg file again.

Look forward to see more..
