Spotted this activity during the Bhandup pumping station photowalk. Initially I thought that the butterfly was just lying on the leaf but close observation revealed that the beauty was actually laying eggs. It seemed as if the butterfly had laid eggs earlier and had came back to lay more eggs as the freshly laid eggs seemed different than the black tipped ones u see all around the leaf

Great find. It's colours look nice. Wish you had a bit more depth of field. These sort of images can arouse the curiosity levels of people and will help in spreading the joy of nature and hence the need to save our wildlife. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely observation. Nice image to record it. As Sabyasachi said, such images mean a great deal more to the viewer as they exhibit a behaviour. These images are the ones that arouse curiosity.
