Posting after a long time. Been experimenting with this Canon EF 500mm f/4 L IS USM before deciding to buy it (came to me from a colleague in the USA who has hardly used it for 9 months)

Found this one at IIT Madras under cloudy low light condition. Quite heavy and need to pump iron to lug it around on a trek or a hike.

Thanks. Haven't bought it yet . . . . still contemplating, for the weight is way too much . . . . ,anyways have a few months to decide for it will stay with me until then . . . .

Nice colours of this bird. I have spent many hours trying to get full frame images of this bird in my initial days. The out of focus canopy looks good. You will soon get used to this lens.
